Eskal Noble Choice Dairy Free Chocolate

I will admit that there is certainly a very limited range of vegan chocolate available in my city. However of the handful of vegan brands I have tried, this one is currently my favourite, in addition to also being one of the cheaper brands (most are around 5-6$ these are 3.50-4$.)

Chocolate of course is very subjective. The reason I like these is firstly because as a dark chocolate they are not too bitter, nor are they too dry or powdery like some tend to be (especially vegan chocolates I have tried). These are a little more creamier but they still have a dark chocolate richness. The other reason they are my favourite is because of the intensity of the flavourings. I have tried all three roast almond, mint infusion and raspberry and I love them all. There is also plain dark chocolate available. The roast almond is a classic favourite. The mint influsion features crunchy bits of mint chips and the raspberry chocolate has dried raspberry chunks that give a slightly tart berry twist to the chocolate.

I also quite like the shape of the chocolate just because its different with each piece breaking into a triangle instead of a square.

Hurraw! Vegan Lip Balm

These lipbalms are AMAZING and as a general purpose lipbalm they are the absolute best! (In my humble opinion).

These lipbalms are all natural, organic and raw, and use only fair trade ingredients. They have provided some useful information about the contents on their website http://www.hurrawbalm.com/hurraw/index.php?dispatch=pages.view&page_id=3.
These lipbalms smell sooo amazing its hard to imagine how they managed to achieve some of the flavours from the simple natural ingredients that are used. The first one I tried was the chocolate flavour and I quickly found it to be so addictive I was re-applying it before my last coat had even worn off!

I have since tried the chai spice, mint, black cherry and lime flavoured lipbalms and they all smell fantastic as well. There are many many more flavours including coffee, coconut, vanilla, grapefruit,  licorice and lemon! Plus some of them are tinted to give a bit of colour if you want that.

These limpbalms are smooth and glide on easily, without being too soft (in comparison I find the Kiss my buns lipbalms to be very soft and while not necessarily a bad thing, it seems to get used up a lot faster).

I have not yet ascertained for sure whether these lipbalms can be used successfully with lipstick I tried once and it tended to make the lipstick separate, but I need to try a few different ways – for now I recommend none of your beeswax to be used with lipstick if needed) however I would still strongly recommend trying out these lipbalms even if you already have found a brand you like, because they are amazing and you wont believe it till you try them!
